Sneak Peek :: Ben
Meet Ben. Ben is a senior at the Denver School of Science & Technology who has his sights set on studying business at Wesleyan University in Connecticut next year. I first met Ben a year ago when I photographed his family for a holiday session last November. I love seeing my clients year-to-year and watching how much changes. I’ve watched babies grow into children, children into adolescents, and adolescents into young adults. It never ceases to amaze me how much can change in so little time.

Sneak Peek :: Eve
Allow me to introduce Eve. Eve is a senior at South High School and a member of the school’s cross country team. I was thrilled when Eve told me she wanted an urban session for her senior portraits – those are my favorite! The colors, textures and unique backdrops of a city environment are so fun to play with. Despite having a track meet the morning of her photo shoot, Eve had no problem trading her running shoes for her rockin’ wardrobe and hitting the streets of downtown Denver for a killer senior session.
Such a fashionista!

Meet Nico. A cross country runner and member of the Arapahoe High School yearbook staff, Nico has his sights set on applying to the University of Southern California this fall to study business, before moving on to law school someday. You’ve got to love an eighteen-year-old with such high aspirations! Continue reading
Sneak Peek :: Smith Family
Allow me to introduce Jessie Lynn, the newest addition to the Smith family. Shannon, Mike and big sister Finley welcomed this little bundle of joy into the world on August 3rd and together they make the sweetest little family. It was such a pleasure to capture Jessie during these first precious weeks and to share in the yummy warmth and love that only a newborn baby can bring.

Sneak Peek :: Harper
Allow me to introduce Harper from Arapahoe High School! This vivacious and fun-loving senior is president of student council and actively involved in AHS’s theater program, both as a member of their elite acting ensemble and having held leading roles in past performances. For her senior portraits, we wanted to highlight Harper’s theatrical side and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts was the perfect backdrop.

Sneak Peek :: Taylor
Such a beautiful session with Taylor of Arapahoe High School this week! We enjoyed a lovely late afternoon along the South Platte River, complete with a little sun, some afternoon clouds, a bit of thunder, and even a surprise snake – EEEK!! That last one certainly spooked the daylights out of mom & me (he was BIG!), but Taylor remained cool as a cucumber despite our reptilian encounter.
Grace under pressure for sure!
Sneak Peek :: Peyton
Allow me to introduce Peyton Smith of Arapahoe High School! In addition to being V.P. of Student Council, Peyton is an accomplished cellist and avid reader. It was so fun to showcase these diverse interests during her senior session this week! Once again I’d like to tip my hat to Marilin Stull of Pretty Neat for her help in styling Peyton’s spunky personality!
Sneak Peek :: Isabelle
Another great senior session this past week – this time with Isabelle Jones of Arapahoe High School! I just love Isabelle’s carefree style & easy going personality. The open meadows and flower fields at Hudson Gardens were the perfect backdrop for this natural beauty.
