This past weekend I photographed Meaghan & Andy for their engagement session. Aren’t they adorable? These two lovebirds will be getting married on June 9th at the Stonebrook Manor Event Center and Gardens in Thornton. I’ll be photographing their wedding as well, and I just know it will be a gorgeous event!

Sneak Peek :: Olive
Meet Olive. I knew from the moment I met her this girl was going to be a joy to photograph. A theater diva from Ralston Valley High School with a head full of wild curls and a bubbly, spunky personality to match, the Arts District on Santa Fe was the perfect place to showcase this girl’s dramatic side. The colorful street art & gritty urban vibe was the perfect foil for Olive’s animated personality & spirited style, proving that truly all the world’s a stage! Continue reading
Sneak Peek :: Lathram Family
FALL IS FOR FAMILIES and it was wonderful to kick off the fall photo season with my longtime clients, the Lathram family! I first met the Lathrams back in 2013 when I photographed their daughters as part of a school fundraiser. So much has changed since then, and it’s been wonderful to watch their as their kids have grown! Even though this beautiful family now lives in Vail, they made the trek down to Denver just to have their portraits taken. I love their commitment to ensuring the photographic legacy of their family!
Sneak Peek :: Ben
Meet Ben. Ben is a senior at the Denver School of Science & Technology who has his sights set on studying business at Wesleyan University in Connecticut next year. I first met Ben a year ago when I photographed his family for a holiday session last November. I love seeing my clients year-to-year and watching how much changes. I’ve watched babies grow into children, children into adolescents, and adolescents into young adults. It never ceases to amaze me how much can change in so little time.

Sneak Peek :: Ryan
Meet Ryan. My first introduction to Ryan was through an email his mother sent me stating that Ryan was a ‘reluctant young man’ when it came to senior portraits. I laughed at loud at that description because it honestly encapsulates a good 75% of all high school senior guys. While girls are typically over the moon at the chance to have their portraits taken professionally, most guys simply don’t care all that much. No worries, I’ve worked with many young men such as Ryan in the past and I love watching how their initial hesitancy turns into relaxation (and even pleasure!) at having their photograph taken. I think that’s because I keep my sessions so laid back and pressure free. Any worries about having to ‘perform’ or be ‘stiff and cheesy’ simply melt away.
Sneak Peek :: Eve
Allow me to introduce Eve. Eve is a senior at South High School and a member of the school’s cross country team. I was thrilled when Eve told me she wanted an urban session for her senior portraits – those are my favorite! The colors, textures and unique backdrops of a city environment are so fun to play with. Despite having a track meet the morning of her photo shoot, Eve had no problem trading her running shoes for her rockin’ wardrobe and hitting the streets of downtown Denver for a killer senior session.
Such a fashionista!
Sneak Peek :: Bryant Investment Group
It was a pleasure to work with The Bryant Investment Group once again! This RBC Wealth Management team of financial advisors recently added some new team members, so it was the perfect time to update their website with new profile pictures. I love how the use of natural light gives these headshots a fresh, approachable look – Perfect for today’s high-tech, high touch business environment! Continue reading
Sneak Peek :: Harper
Allow me to introduce Harper from Arapahoe High School! This vivacious and fun-loving senior is president of student council and actively involved in AHS’s theater program, both as a member of their elite acting ensemble and having held leading roles in past performances. For her senior portraits, we wanted to highlight Harper’s theatrical side and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts was the perfect backdrop.
Such a doll – Keep an eye out for this rising star!
Sneak Peek :: Taylor
Such a beautiful session with Taylor of Arapahoe High School this week! We enjoyed a lovely late afternoon along the South Platte River, complete with a little sun, some afternoon clouds, a bit of thunder, and even a surprise snake – EEEK!! That last one certainly spooked the daylights out of mom & me (he was BIG!), but Taylor remained cool as a cucumber despite our reptilian encounter.
Grace under pressure for sure!
Sneak Peek :: Smith Family
It was great to photograph the Smith family this week! We were able to schedule their session immediately after Peyton’s senior portraits, which was super convenient for this busy family’s schedule. Not only did we capture some great images of this fun crew, but word has it Dad treated everyone to breakfast at the Waffle House afterwards. Sounds like a perfect morning to me!!
