Meet Nico. A cross country runner and member of the Arapahoe High School yearbook staff, Nico has his sights set on applying to the University of Southern California this fall to study business, before moving on to law school someday. You’ve got to love an eighteen-year-old with such high aspirations! Continue reading
It was such an honor to be the photographer for Emmett’s Bar Mitzvah a few weeks ago. I have known Emmett since the day he was born, and have watched with sheer admiration as he’s grown into the wonderful person he is today. His Bar Mitzvah celebration, held in a three story loft in downtown Denver, was as unique as Emmett himself and was filled with love, family, & even a little magic. Mazel Tov Emmett!

Add to that his fair skin, blue eyes and thick mane of wavy, reddish-brown hair and you have the perfect formula for some classic Irish good looks. Maybe that’s why I felt compelled to set my Ed Sheeran playlist to repeat while I was editing his photos. Somehow it just seemed appropriate… Continue reading
6′ 7″ tall.
A Gentle Giant.
Meet Maddie. Easy-going & personable, Maddie wins the award this year for the quickest turn around between the date she first contacted me and the date we did her senior session: one week! That is a rarity this time of year, but she was anxious to squeeze her session in before school started and I just happened to have a time slot open that fit into her schedule. It’s awesome when things work out that way!
Because Maddie wanted a natural setting and she was scheduled for late afternoon, I anticipated a full-sun scenario where we’d be working primarily in the shade or capturing backlit images. However Mother Nature had her own thoughts, Continue reading
Guess the senior session ran a bit too long… the natives were getting restless.
